Plant and Wildlife Expectations
The combination of savannah, mountain, and river makes it most interesting to observe changes in the plant, animal and bird life in the different habitats. Encounters with giant otter, giant anteater, deer and the occasional jaguar, tapir as well as the huge Jabiru stork are fairly common. The rich bird life of up to 440 species makes Rock View the ideal base for bird watching around Annai, Surama and the Iwokrama rainforest.
